HOW LONG IS A TYPICAL VISIT TO THE CEC?

Aside from travel time, a typical visit to the CEC will take 30 or 60 minutes.

DOES IT COST MONEY TO PARTICIPATE?

There is no direct cost to you, aside from your time and cost of transportation.

DOES THE CEC KEEP PARTICIPATION CONFIDENTIAL?

All participation in the CEC is confidential. All data (e.g., surveys, recordings) are de-identified and stored with restricted access.

IF MY CHILD IS PARTICIPATING IN A RESEARCH ACTIVITY, CAN I BRING MY OTHER CHILDREN WITH ME?

The CEC has free childcare available during the duration of the research activity for any additional children accompanying the family. When scheduling your visit, please let us know at that time if you plan to bring additional children with you so we can ensure we have research assistants available.
